The North Carolina Preterm Birth Prevention TeleHealth Network seeks to reduce barriers to preterm birth risk identification by fostering ultrasound skills across the state.
The North Carolina Preterm Birth Prevention TeleHealth Network provided financial support to train 180 sonographers in North Carolina in ultrasound measurement of cervical length (CLEAR certification). Supporting certification for sonographers in underserved areas of the state was the priority of the project; with opportunities for financial support for sonographers in other regions of North Carolina as available.
